A leading oilfield services company is seeking a Wireline Field Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Wireline Field Specialist, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and managing wellsite logging operations, ensuring that all activities comply with company standards, safety regulations, and client expectations.

🌟 Key Responsibilities

The Wireline Field Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:

Operational Planning & Preparation

  • Plan and prepare for wellsite operations, ensuring all resources, tools, and personnel are ready for safe and efficient execution.

  • Supervise and assist crew members in preparing the wireline unit, checking, and calibrating equipment to meet operational standards.

  • Maintain awareness of technological developments, operating procedures, and industry best practices to optimize operational efficiency.

Wellsite Operations & Customer Service

  • Conduct wireline wellsite operations in alignment with client requirements and company standards.

  • Communicate with clients regarding operational needs, technical job data, and detailed planning to ensure expectations are met.

  • Maintain strong customer relations by fostering a positive image and confidence in service quality.

  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism during all logging operations, demonstrating trust and reliability to clients.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare, draft, and complete all logs for printing either on location or immediately upon returning to the district office, depending on company and client requirements.

  • Complete all operational documentation, tickets, and reporting in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Record all activities, events, and incidents, ensuring accurate reporting for both internal and client records.

Team Management & Training

  • Provide dedicated face time to communicate and manage personnel issues as needed, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

  • Mentor and assist trainees to ensure consistent service delivery, skill development, and adherence to operational protocols.

  • Support team members in troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining operational efficiency at the wellsite.

Additional Duties

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the manager in support of wellsite operations and business objectives.

Candidates for this role should possess the following:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Diploma in a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of cased-hole wireline experience, preferably within Saudi Arabia.

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of wireline equipment, logging operations, and calibration procedures.

  • Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of HSE standards, operational safety regulations, and adherence to industry best practices.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, team members, and management.

  • Teamwork & Leadership: Ability to supervise crew members, provide guidance, and ensure smooth operational execution.

  • Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making and troubleshooting skills in high-pressure operational environments.
