QA/QC Supervisors:

  • QC Supervisor – Mechanical

Each role plays a critical part in ensuring that the project meets Aramco’s rigorous quality, safety, and environmental standards.

🌟 Key Responsibilities

QA/QC Inspectors:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of piping, mechanical, structural, welding, coating, and static/rotating equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and international codes.

  • Review and verify quality documentation, including inspection reports, material certifications, welding records, and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) results.

  • Monitor the project’s QA/QC metrics, report non-conformances, and track corrective actions until resolution.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and procurement teams to address quality issues proactively.

  • Perform testing, verification, and preservation checks for assigned scopes, ensuring all activities comply with Aramco and ISO standards.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records and ensure documentation is audit-ready at all times.

QA/QC Supervisors:

  • Lead and supervise inspection teams across multiple disciplines, ensuring adherence to Aramco-approved QA/QC procedures.

  • Review and approve inspection reports, test packages, and quality documentation prepared by the inspection team.

  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and ensure that all inspections meet international and Aramco quality standards.

  • Oversee ISO compliance, environmental safety protocols, and regulatory adherence across all QA/QC activities.

  • Mentor inspectors, providing technical guidance, on-the-job training, and performance feedback.

  • Report QA/QC progress, issues, and status updates to project management, highlighting any risks or non-conformances.

🎯 Required Qualifications

QC Inspectors:

  • Minimum 6+ years of QA/QC experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

  • Must be Aramco-approved for QA/QC roles.

  • Academic qualifications: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in relevant engineering fields.

  • Professional certifications:

    • CSWIP (Certified Welding Inspector)

    • BGAS (for 2022 pass-outs)

    • API Certifications (510 / 570 / 653) specifically for QC Inspectors in Static Equipment.

QC Supervisors:

  • Minimum 13+ years of experience in QA/QC supervision within Oil & Gas projects.

  • Must be Aramco-approved for supervisory roles.

  • Academic qualifications: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma.

  • Additional certifications: ISO Lead Auditor Certified (preferred).

Skills & Competencies Required:

  • Deep understanding of Oil & Gas QA/QC processes, inspection techniques, and testing procedures.

  • Strong knowledge of Aramco standards, ISO quality systems, and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent reporting and documentation skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and ensure timely completion of inspections and reporting.
